Carlos Carrasco, SP, Cleveland Indians

FanDuel Price: $9,700

Max Scherzer should be the top pitcher on everyone's wish list, but he's expensive. So, particularly in tournaments, there are a slew of big names you can pivot to. Luis Severino, James Paxton, Carlos Martinez, Alex Wood, Sean Manaea -- the list goes on and on!

But DFS is all about making those tough choices, and Carlos Carrasco might be the big name to move to the back of the line.

The season numbers look good, but over his last five starts, Carrasco has a 6.08 ERA, 37.7% hard-hit rate, and 9.3% walk rate. He's faced the Rays, Reds, Athletics, Royals, and White Sox during this time, which isn't exactly a murderers' row.

He gets the Minnesota Twins tonight, who have been lighting it up lately and have an active roster with a 106 wRC+ against righties. With high temperatures expected in Minnesota, the Twins have a 4.55 implied team total.

In all, there's a lot working against Carrasco, and you can find similar upside from cheaper pitchers this evening.
