Jon Gray, SP, Colorado Rockies

FanDuel Price: $6,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

A split slate can sometimes lead to some hard-to-find options, but Wednesday evening's main slate has a bevy of good ones. Jacob deGrom and Alex Wood are two high-end pitchers who should be in line for a ton of ownership given their strong recent performances.

A super cheap option who may go overlooked is Jon Gray. Not only is he pitching at home, where the contest has an implied total of 11.0 runs, but Gray also recently missed a pile of playing time and made his first start back in the majors on Friday.

Why You Should Use Him:

Overlook Gray at your own risk this evening. Despite a monster implied team total for the Cincinnati Reds, there's a few reasons to be bullish on him.

In his first start back, Gray struck out 10 Arizona Diamondbacks over 6 innings, and his 15.7% swinging-strike rate was pretty much filthy.

And while Coors can be a scary proposition, remember that in 2016, Gray was arguably a better pitcher at home. In 83 2/3 innings pitched, he allowed only a .290 wOBA and a 3.16 FIP in Denver last season.

The Reds, meanwhile, don't have an aversion to striking out. In 2017, they've whiffed 20.7% of the time.

At a super cheap price, Gray carries major upside potential.
