The Chicago White Sox are starting right-hander Dylan Covey tonight, and despite his strong start to the season, he still represents a plus fantasy matchup for Cleveland's bats.

Covey has produced very well so far in 2018, but a five-game sample isn't something we can read too much into. His strikeout rate has jumped a full 10.0% from where it was in his 18-game rookie season in 2017, despite his swinging-strike rate sitting at only 8.4%. His 9.2% walk rate also isn't far off the 11.0% he posted last year.

Over 23 Major League games, his SIERA sits at a still-troubling 5.06, and even in this solid 2018 campaign he has allowed a 36.8% hard-hit rate with only a 13.2% soft-hit rate to left-handed bats.

The switch-hitting Jose Ramirez has mashed righties this year, turning in a .432 wOBA and .351 isolated slugging (ISO) over 208 plate appearances. Producing like that is nothing new to him either, having also cracked right-handed pitchers for a .397 wOBA and .272 ISO a season ago.
