Joey Gallo, OF, Texas Rangers

FanDuel Price: $3,000

Kenta Maeda makes his return from the disabled list on Wednesday, and he's been lights out with a 3.19 SIERA and 30.5% strikeout rate this season. Given those daunting marks, the Texas Rangers are looking at a 3.30 implied team total, so many will skip over their lineup entirely without a second thought.

But the one guy you might want to make an exception for is Joey Gallo, who's always a threat for a dinger or two. After all, you can't find many guys who, priced at $3,000, can bring a 48.1% hard-hit rate and .265 isolated power (ISO) against righties into a matchup with a right-handed pitcher.

While Maeda is hardly an inviting matchup, it's worth noting he that isn't a ground-ball pitcher, and over his career he's allowed a 4.59 FIP and .327 wOBA to left-handed hitters. Plus, with Maeda coming off an injury without any minor league rehab assignment, it's fair to wonder whether he'll be in top form, or even pitch all that deep into the contest.

Gallo is boom-or-bust in any spot, but at this salary he's worth a flyer to add some cheap, low-owned pop to a tournament lineup.
