The Texas Rangers face struggling right-hander Alex Cobb at Camden Yards tonight, so it's another opportunity to use Joey Gallo in tournaments.

After 16 starts, Cobb finds himself with a cringeworthy 6.67 ERA, and while a 4.58 SIERA suggests he's gotten a little unlucky, a 15.2% strikeout rate certainly isn't helping his cause. He may induce ground balls against righties, but that hasn't been the case versus lefty bats, allowing a 35.5% hard-hit rate and 42.4% ground-ball rate.

Cobb is also giving up 1.67 home runs per nine innings, so it all sets up nicely for Gallo. Gallo is batting eighth for the third straight game, and while that's not ideal, it should help push ownership down in a good spot. After all, he's still got that immense power upside no matter where he's batting in the order. Gallo is producing a 49.2% hard-hit rate and 51.6% fly-ball rate against righties, which has led to a .244 isolated power (ISO).
