Finding some value bats to the afford the aces at the top is going to be paramount on tonight's slate, and a good source of salary relief resides in the game with the highest over/under of the night.

The Orioles and Rangers are projected for a shootout tonight in the Texas heat (10.5 runs), and Tim Beckham is an intriguing target, assuming he occupies his normal spot at the leadoff position. Beckham hasn't been great this year, but he's been heating up over the last two weeks.

Yovani Gallardo is certainly a pitcher we want to pick on as his 5.44 SIERA and 11.5% walk rate indicate the base paths are going to be busy. Beckham, in a very limited sample, has owned Gallardo, going 3-for-4 with a home run and a stolen base.

Beckham has upside, and with so many offenses in a good spot, not many people will flock to the O's.
