3 Under-the-Radar MLB FanDuel Plays for 8/6/18

The New York Mets aren't exactly a stack-friendly team, but we must take notice when Homer Bailey is on the mound. Although Bailey is coming off two straight strong performances, that shouldn't scare us off of a guy we've routinely attacked, and one still showing a 5.04 SIERA, 15.0% strikeout rate, and 42.9% hard-hit rate over 14 starts.

Between Coors Field and teams like the Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, and Chicago Cubs displaying high implied team totals, this is a matchup that could definitely go overlooked on a 10-game slate.

Michael Conforto may be having a disappointing season, but he's produced an encouraging 41.9% hard-hit rate and 39.0% fly-ball rate since the start of June. While those marks haven't quite had the desired results, it's more on par with Conforto's career batted-ball numbers and led to a solid .349 expected weighted on-base average (xwOBA). While we may not see the 2017 version of Conforto this season, perhaps this is the right matchup for those peripherals to come through for us.
