Rostering Corey Kluber generally leads to a high level of success. The right-hander is a beast, but it is worth noting that at a $12,000 price point, spending up at pitcher can be a tricky proposition. A close look at Kluber reveals some warts that may make him not so appetizing to roster.

Over Kluber's last seven starts, he's looked like a mere mortal, firing a 3.95 ERA, including a 37.4% hard-hit rate. In Kluber's last outing, he was even yanked early, recording only five outs against in a pasting by the Tampa Bay Rays.

It's also worth noting that Kluber's strikeout upside has dropped considerably. In 2018, he's recorded a solid 25.6% strikeout rate, but that's far down from last year's rate of 34.1%.

All of this means that Kluber is still a stud, but may not be worth playing at a hefty price tag.
