Brian Dozier, 2B, Washington Nationals

2018 - Home Runs: 21 (T-65th), FB: 43.7%, HR/FB: 11.2%

After back-to-back 100-plus run, 34-plus homer seasons as a member of the Minnesota Twins, Brian Dozier skidded his way to a 21 homer output a year ago, finishing up the year as a member of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Now, he's on the move again, inking a one-year deal with the Washington Nationals. Was last year a harbinger of things to come, or should we expect a rebound?

Apparently, Dozier played all of 2018 through a knee injury, which makes sense when you see a five-year low in isolated power (ISO -- .174) and a career-worst batting average (.215). His plate discipline remained solid, though, with an 11.1% walk rate. His fly-ball rate also remained elite and he raised his hard-hit rate to 37.3%.

Dozier may be limited by the fact that he could bat towards the bottom of a potent Nats order, but if his health returns, expect a bounce-back to be in order.
