FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Friday 6/15/18

We've got some big names at the top of Friday's pitching list, but it's Ross Stripling who could prove to be the best value. Who else gets a nod on tonight's main slate?

It's Friday, and that means we've got all 30 teams going for another doozy of a slate, packed with alluring options both on the mound and at the plate. Corey Kluber headlines the arms race, but he's got some stiff competition at the top from fellow studs James Paxton and Ross Stripling. Some ideal hitting conditions in Kansas City and Arlington put the Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies, and Texas Rangers at the top of the hitting pile, along with the always dangerous New York Yankees.

Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered! And don't forget to take a listen to The Solo Shot podcast with Jim Sannes, who breaks down the MLB daily fantasy slate each day.

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Pitchers to Target

High-Priced Pitchers

Corey Kluber ($12,000 on FanDuel): Corey Kluber is in the midst of yet another stellar campaign, posting a 2.77 SIERA and 27.5% strikeout rate along with a league-best 2.7% walk rate. If we're nitpicking, the punchouts are down from 2017, but Kluber is really starting to ramp things up lately, boosting that mark to 32.6% over his last 5 outings. There's little reason to think he can't keep the good times rolling against a middle-of-the-road Minnesota Twins offense that's getting only a 3.37 implied team total. There's no doubt Kluber is an elite option tonight, but the one thing that holds him back is his hefty price tag, with the next pair of guys fully capable of keeping pace. Fit Kluber in if you can, but it might be worth taking the savings to open things up for your bats.
