FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Thursday 6/21/18

We're going to need a lot of low-cost bats to fit in Max Scherzer, and the Cubs -- in a stellar spot against Matt Harvey -- might be able to hook us up.

We finally get a break from Coors Field on Thursday's main slate, but we still have a healthy six games for us to peruse this evening. Max Scherzer blows away the rest of the field at pitcher, while the Chicago Cubs stand on offense. Note that the contest between the Oakland Athletics and Chicago White Sox has already been postponed.

Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered!

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Pitchers to Target

High-Priced Pitchers

Max Scherzer ($12,200 on FanDuel): Particularly without Coors to contend with, it's a no-brainer to use Max Scherzer in cash tonight. He's by far this season's most dominant pitcher, throwing down a ridiculous 2.19 SIERA, 39.0% strikeout rate, and 5.9% walk rate. And if that wasn't enough, he's facing a weak Baltimore Orioles lineup that's striking out 24.9% of the time versus right-handers and has a pitiful 2.68 implied team total. As they say, don't overthink this one.
