FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Wednesday 6/26/19

Wednesday's main slate drops down to nine games tonight, and while it doesn't bring quite the offensive bonanza of high implied totals we saw yesterday, we still draw some enticing matchups for the Phillies, Astros, and Cardinals. On the pitching side, options are a tad more limited, though the good news is pricing is down across the board, with no hurler priced above $10,100.

High-Priced Pitchers

Patrick Corbin ($9,800 on FanDuel): Max Scherzer predictably demolished the Marlins on Tuesday (61 FanDuel points), and now Patrick Corbin is the next hurler to enjoy this matchup. The only difference is that Corbin is a lefty, and Miami's predominantly right-handed active roster hasn't been a great source of strikeouts for opposing southpaws (18.9% rate). That would theoretically put a damper on Corbin's upside, but we're still talking about an unimposing group with a league-low ISO against lefties (.124), and Corbin had no problem racking up 52 FanDuel points in a complete game shutout the last time he faced the Marlins. Miami is showing a modest 3.46 implied total in Marlins Park, and while Corbin hasn't been quite as strong as he was in 2018, he represents one of the safer floors on the slate.
