4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 7/12/19

Coors Field is an obvious highlight on our first full slate out of the break, though with solid hurlers in Sonny Gray and Jon Gray taking the hill, it's certainly possible that the Colorado Rockies and Cincinnati Reds fail to reach tonight's 12.0 over/under. The good news is if you choose to fade Coors, there are plenty of other enticing options at our disposal tonight -- even excluding Coors, there are eight other teams with implied totals over five runs.

Each day here on numberFire, we'll go through four offenses ripe for the stacking. They could have a great matchup, be in a great park, or just have a lot of quality sticks in the lineup, but these are the offenses primed for big days that you may want a piece of.

Now, let's get to the stacks. As usual, we will not include today's game at Coors Field in these recommendations. You already know that you want bats at Coors when you can afford them, and you don't need us to tell you. Here are the other teams you should be targeting in daily fantasy baseball today.

New York Yankees

With an enormous 6.85 implied total that leads the slate -- yes, even higher than either Coors team -- the New York Yankees could very well be the evening's most popular stack. But ownership may not get too out of hand on a 13-game slate, and that total is well deserved against a struggling Aaron Sanchez.

Sanchez has been eviscerated for a 6.16 ERA and 1.75 WHIP, and that's of little surprise when you factor in his 5.57 SIERA, 17.9% strikeout rate, and 13.0% walk rate. Despite a solid 49.0% ground-ball rate, even the home run ball -- something Sanchez was able to limit in 2018 -- has haunted him more often this season, allowing 1.37 per nine innings off a career-worst 37.6% hard-hit rate.

Toss in Yankee Stadium and temperatures in the high 80s, and this one could get ugly in a hurry.

Like always, you can pretty much stack this Yankees lineup from top to bottom, with Aaron Judge ($4,400) and Gary Sanchez ($3,900) naturally being our best bets to knock one out -- both players crack the top 15 in xSLG this season, per Baseball Savant.

Of course, Edwin Encarnacion ($3,700), Aaron Hicks ($3,700), and Gleyber Torres ($3,400) have plenty of power, too, and DJ LeMahieu ($4,200) has been racking up FanDuel points out of the leadoff spot with an excellent .383 OBP.

On cheaper side, Didi Gregorius ($3,300) and Brett Gardner ($2,800) won't break the bank and will enjoy the platoon advantage.
