FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Wednesday 9/11/19

On a slate light on high-priced hurlers, Sonny Gray draws a soft matchup against the Seattle Mariners.

Another large slate looms on Wednesday, and despite the St. Louis Cardinals and Colorado Rockies surprisingly combining for a mere three runs last night, they'll once again be top stacks at Coors Field. We're also lacking in many high-priced hurlers again, with just three arms priced at $9,000 and above tonight.

Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered! And don't forget to take a listen to The Solo Shot podcast with Jim Sannes, who breaks down the MLB daily fantasy slate each day.

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Pitchers to Target

High-Priced Pitcher

Sonny Gray ($10,200 on FanDuel): Stephen Strasburg ($10,500) is the most talented pitcher on the board, but with a tough matchup against the Twins, it's Sonny Gray who's the far safer choice on Wednesday. Gray has produced a solid 3.99 SIERA and 28.5% strikeout rate through 28 starts, and his 51.4% ground-ball rate does a good job of keeping the ball in the park. But best of all, he's facing the Mariners, whose active roster is striking out 25.3% of the time to right-handed pitching. Seattle's 3.69 implied total is one of the only ones under four runs tonight.
