4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 9/19/19

The Cleveland Indians take on a struggling left-hander in Daniel Norris, making them an elite play on this short slate. Who else should you stack up?

Each day here on numberFire, we'll go through four offenses ripe for the stacking. They could have a great matchup, be in a great park, or just have a lot of quality sticks in the lineup, but these are the offenses primed for big days that you may want a piece of.

Premium members can use our stacking feature to customize their stacks within their optimal lineups for the day, choosing the team you want to stack and how many players you want to include. You can also check out our hitting heat map, which provides an illustration of which offenses have the best combination of matchup and potency.

Cleveland Indians

We covered the Cleveland Indians against right-handed pitching for last night's game, so lets see what they're capable of against left-handed pitching as they take on Detroit Tigers southpaw Daniel Norris.

Norris hasn't been great this year with just a 20.2 percent strikeout rate and 6.5 percent walk rate. In addition, he's giving up a 38.4 percent hard-hit rate and a 37.0 percent fly-ball rate, which has resulted in a 16.0 percent home-run-to-fly-ball rate.

The king of this split is right-handed Jordan Luplow ($2,800), who has completely smashed left-handed pitching this season. He has put up a ridiculous .472 wOBA and .410 ISO in the split but is definitely a pinch-hit concern later in the game (and Norris is a modified opener these days). Secondly, Carlos Santana ($3,800) makes for a fantastic option with a .419 wOBA and .243 ISO against lefties. Considering his success against righties (.368 wOBA and .246 ISO), he makes for a great play any night. Santana has a very good 92.0-MPH average exit velocity against both lefties and righties combined.

Catcher Roberto Perez ($2,800) is a solid play tonight with a .357 wOBA and .235 ISO against lefties while Franmil Reyes (3,000) is intriguing this evening, too, with his .343 wOBA and .227 ISO against southpaws.

Other hitters to consider to round out your stack are Francisco Lindor ($4,000) and Oscar Mercado ($2,900).
