Aaron Hicks (hamstring) remains out for Yankees in Game 3
New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (hamstring) remains out of the starting lineup on Monday in Game 3 of the American League Division Series versus the Boston Red Sox.
Hicks suffered a hamstring injury during Game 1 that kept him out of action in Game 2, but he's made encouraging progress and is available off the bench Monday. "I feel like he’s in a pretty good spot," Yankees manager Aaron Boone said. Brett Gardner has drawn the start again in place of Gardner for Game 3.
Hicks went 1-for-1 and drew a walk in Game 1 before making an early exit.
