Martin Maldonado moves to Astros' bench in Game 3 versus Red Sox
Houston Astros catcher Martin Maldonado is out of the starting lineup in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series versus the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday.
Brian McCann will catch Dallas Keuchel for Houston in Game 3. Maldonado went a combined 1-for-6 with 1 double and 2 runs scored in the first two games of the series.
Maldonado is hitting .143 in five games this postseason with 1 home run, 1 double, 1 RBI, and 3 runs scored.
