Khris Davis (calf) expected to make his spring debut for Oakland this week
Oakland Athletics outfielder Khris Davis (calf) is expected to play in his first spring training game of 2019 on Thursday or Friday.
Davis has been bothered by a calf strain during camp but has been making progress. Unless he suffers a setback, Davis is expected to be ready for the A's openings series on in Japan on March 20 versus the Seattle Mariners.
Our models project Davis for 42 homers, 113 RBI, and a .249 batting average in 626 plate appearances this season.
