Astros' Josh James (quad) will try running Wednesday
Houston Astros starting pitcher Josh James (quad) will try to run Wednesday.
James has been limited since being diagnosed with a strained right quad last week. It cost him a shot at the final spot in the Astros' Opening Day rotation, but the 25-year-old right-hander could still secure a role out of the bullpen. James posted a 2.35 ERA and 0.96 WHIP with 29 strikeouts and 7 walks over his first 23 major league innings this season.
numberFire's models expect James to go 7-4 with a 4.00 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, and 123 strikeouts across 103 2/3 innings in 2019.
