Sonny Gray (elbow) expected to start for Reds on Saturday
Cincinnati Reds pitcher Sonny Gray (elbow) is listed as the probable starter for Saturday's Cactus League game against the San Diego Padres.
Gray has been dealing with minor elbow soreness. He will be cleared to make his first Cactus League start for the Reds if there aren't any setbacks during a bullpen session on Thursday. The 29-year-old was acquired from the New York Yankees this offseason and should be a fixture in the rotation if healthy.
numberFire's models expect Gray to record a 4.22 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with 114 strikeouts across 126 innings this season.
