Nick Senzel (hamstring) returns for Reds Thursday
Cincinnati Reds prospect Nick Senzel (hamstring) is back for Thursday's Cactus League game against the Seattle Mariners.
Senzel has been held out of Cactus League games this week due to hamstring tightness. He will start in center field and bat sixth Thursday night. Reds manager David Bell previously said that it is "very possible" Senzel will be the club's starting center fielder this season. The 23-year-old slashed .310/.378/.509 with 6 home runs, 25 RBI, 23 runs scored, and 8 steals in 44 games (193 plate appearances) at Triple-A Louisville in 2018 before suffering a season-ending finger injury in June.
numberFire's models expect Senzel to hit .283 with 11 bombs, 39 RBI, 36 runs scored, and 7 steals in 339 plate appearances this season.
