Kyle Seager to undergo hand surgery, out for Mariners until at least May
Seattle Mariners third baseman Kyle Seager needs surgery to repair an injured tendon on his left hand and will be sidelined at least until May.
Mariners manager Scott Servais said Seager will miss the first month of the season and possibly more. Ryon Healy is expected to handle most of the work at third while Seager is sidelined.
Prior to this announcement, numberFire's models expected Seager to bat .241 with 24 home runs, 79 RBI, 69 runs scored, and 2 steals in 2019.
