Indians' Francisco Lindor (ankle) could miss 3-plus weeks
Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor (ankle, calf) could be sidelined for at least 3 weeks, per Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Lindor injured his left ankle last Tuesday in a minor league game while rehabbing a calf injury. The Indians are expected to set some sort of timetable on Wednesday, according to Hoynes, but it appears the star shortstop avoided anything serious.
Prior to this announcement, numberFire's models expected Lindor to bat .285 with 29 home runs, 82 RBI, 99 runs scored, and 20 steals in 2019.
