Dodgers' Matt Beaty on bench Sunday

Los Angeles Dodgers infielder/outfielder Matt Beaty is not starting in Sunday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Tanner Roark and the Cincinnati Reds.

What It Means:

Beaty went 1-for-4 in his first career start on Saturday afternoon. His playing time will mostly be dependent on the health of the rest of the roster. Max Muncy is replacing Beaty at first base Sunday afternoon while Justin Turner (shin) is back on the hot corner.

Beaty is 3-for-8 (.375) with an RBI and 2 strikeouts in five appearances for the Dodgers.
