George Springer (back) still sidelined Tuesday for Astros
Houston Astros outfielder George Springer (back) remains out of the starting lineup on Tuesday versus the Chicago White Sox.
It's a second consecutive absence for Springer after exiting Sunday's game early due to lower back stiffness. The 29-year-old making a weekend return is "very probable," according to Astros manager A.J. Hinch.
Springer is slashing .313/.396/.654 this season with 17 homers, 9 doubles, 42 RBI, 41 runs scored, and 4 steals through 212 plate appearances.
