Jeff McNeil (hamstring) sitting for Mets Wednesday
New York Mets infielder/outfielder Jeff McNeil is not starting on Wednesday versus right-hander Max Scherzer and the Washington Nationals due to left hamstring tightness.
It's believed to be a mild issue and McNeil should be back for Thursday afternoon's series finale. J.D. Davis is in left field Wednesday and Amed Rosario is in the leadoff spot.
numberFire's models expect McNeil to record 4 homers, 28 RBI, 43 runs scored, and 6 steals over the rest of the season.
