Mets' Brandon Nimmo (neck) placed on the 10-Day Injured List
New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo was placed on the 10-Day Injured List after suffering a strained neck.
What It Means:
Nimmo will miss at least ten days with a neck strain after an MRI indicated the outfielder needed time to heal. The Mets will replace his roster spot with veteran Rajai Davis.
In 130 at-bats this season, Nimmo is hitting .200 with 3 home runs and 14 RBI.
