Cesar Hernandez sitting for Phillies versus Cubs
Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Cesar Hernandez is not starting in Thursday afternoon's series finale versus left-hander Jon Lester and the Chicago Cubs.
It appears to be a routine breather for Hernandez, who extended his hitting streak to six games in Wednesday's 8-4 loss to the Cubs. Scott Kingery is covering second base Thursday while Odubel Herrera starts in center field.
numberFire's models expect Hernandez to record 8 homers, 39 RBI, 55 runs scored, and 13 steals over the rest of the season.
