What It Means:
Irvin will pitch in the minors after giving up seven earned runs in his start on Wednesday. Philadelphia will replace his roster spot with Drew Anderson.
In 17.2 innings pitched, Irvin produced a 5.60 ERA and 13 strikeouts.
