Zach Eflin (back) to return to Phillies' rotation Friday
Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Zach Eflin (back) will return to the rotation Friday for a start against the Cincinnati Reds.
Eflin will only require the minimum 10 days on the injured list due to a mid-back issue. The 25-year-old right-hander owns a 3.02 ERA and 1.19 WHIP with 51 strikeouts and 14 walks over 65 2/3 innings (11 starts). He's also tossed a pair of complete games this season, tied for the major league lead.
numberFire's models expect Eflin to spin a 4.37 ERA and 1.28 WHIP with 73 K and 23 BB over the rest of the season.
