Red Sox's Nathan Eovaldi (elbow) bothered by biceps soreness
Boston Red Sox pitcher Nathan Eovaldi's (elbow) next scheduled bullpen session has been pushed back due to right biceps soreness.
Eovaldi had been trending toward receiving clearance to begin a minor league rehab assignment, but this will put things on hold. The 29-year-old right-hander has been on the injured list since April 20 following surgery to remove loose bodies from his elbow.
Eovaldi posted a 6.00 ERA and 1.52 WHIP while striking out 16 and walking 11 over 21 innings before landing on the IL.
