Jhoulys Chacin (back) expected to return to Brewers' rotation early next week
Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jhoulys Chacin (back) threw a bullpen session on Tuesday and is expected to return to the rotation for the series with the San Diego Padres starting on Monday.
What It Means:
Chacin last pitched on May 31 due to a back injury, but if he makes it through Tuesday's session without any setbacks, he will be ready to roll early next week.
Chacin has posted a 5.74 ERA and 1.48 WHIP while striking out 44 and walking 29 in 58 innings pitched this season.
