Noah Syndergaard (hamstring) placed on Mets' injured list
New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard has been placed on the injured list due to a hamstring injury.
"Thor" was placed on the 10-day list Sunday, as he left Saturday's outing against the Cardinals earlier than expected. It's been a rough go-around for the former ace so far this season, and this injury is just another setback.
In 95 innings this season, Syndergaard is 5-4 with a 4.55 ERA, a 1.21 WHIP, 93 strikeouts and 24 walks.
