New York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela is not starting in Sunday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Justin Verlander and the Houston Astros.
Urshela hit a two-run shot in the fifth inning of Saturday's win over the Astros. He struck out in all of his other at-bats, finishing 1-for-4. The 27-year-old is slashing .306/.358/.466 with 6 homers and 34 RBI through 215 plate appearances (62 games). DJ LeMahieu is moving to third base on Sunday. Gleyber Torres is on second.
