Indians' Carlos Carrasco (illness) plays catch Monday
Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (illness) played catch on Monday.
Carrasco hasn't pitched in close to a month due to an unspecified blood condition. The 32-year-old right-hander has a history of heart issues, so the Indians are understandably going to err on the extreme side of caution.
Carrasco is 4-6 in 12 starts this season. He owns a 4.98 ERA and 1.31 WHIP with 79 strikeouts and 11 walks across 65 innings.
