Max Kepler (elbow) out of Minnesota's Wednesday lineup
Minnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler (elbow) is not starting on Wednesday versus the Tampa Bay Rays.
Kepler was lifted from Tuesday's game against the Rays after being hit by a pitch in the right elbow. X-rays came back negative, but results from a Wednesday MRI should provide more details on the injury. The 26-year-old is on pace for career-bests across the board. Willians Astudillo, Eddie Rosario, and Jake Cave are in the Twins' outfield Wednesday.
Kepler is hitting .272/.351/.547 with 19 home runs and 51 RBI in 316 plate appearances (71 games).
