Angels' Tommy La Stella (tibia) placed on the 10-day Injured List on Wednesday
Los Angeles Angels infielder Tommy La Stella was placed on the 10-day Injured List after suffering a right tibia fracture.
What It Means:
La Stella will miss at least eight-to-ten weeks after suffering an injury on Tuesday. The Angels will replace his roster spot with infielder Matt Thaiss.
In 283 at-bats this season, La Stella is hitting .300 with 16 home runs and 44 RBI.
