Phillies' Jay Bruce pulled from Tuesday's game with oblique injury
Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Jay Bruce was removed from Tuesday's game with an oblique injury.
What It Means:
Bruce hurt himself on a check swing in the third inning and was immediately removed from the game. Roman Quinn took his place in the at-bat and the field.
Bruce is batting .232 with 24 homers and 57 RBI in 303 plate appearances this season.
