Nick Senzel (elbow) scratched Monday, Freddy Galvis enters Reds' lineup
Cincinnati Reds center fielder Nick Senzel has been scratched from Monday's starting lineup against the San Diego Padres due to a sore left elbow.
Senzel is still feeling the ill-effects after being plunked by a pitch on Sunday. Consider him day-to-day. Freddy Galvis has been added to the lineup at second base and is hitting seventh. Phillip Ervin is now in center field and leading off while Jose Peraza is in left field and batting fifth. Kyle Farmer is lined up sixth.
Senzel is slashing .268/.325/.445 with 10 homers, 20 doubles, 38 RBI, 10 steals, and 49 scores in 361 plate appearances (86 games) this season.
