Texas Rangers designated hitter Hunter Pence is playing right field and hitting third in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against left-hander Andrew Heaney and the Los Angeles Angels.
Pence is in right field in place of Nomar Mazara (oblique, IL) while Nick Solak is in the DH spot for his MLB debut. Pence went 3-for-4 with an RBI, 2 walks, and a score while handling cleanup duty on Monday in an extra-innings win over the Angels.
