Elvis Andrus on Rangers' bench Tuesday afternoon in Game 1
Texas Rangers shortstop Elvis Andrus is not starting in Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against left-hander Andrew Heaney and the Los Angeles Angels.
The Rangers appear to be giving Andrus a breather in the front end of this split doubleheader. He should be back for the nightcap. Logan Forsythe is covering shortstop Tuesday afternoon while Hunter Pence hits third.
numberFire's models expect Andrus to record 2 homers, 12 RBI, 5 steals, and 17 runs scored over the rest of the season.
