Evan Longoria back for San Francisco on Tuesday
San Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria is starting in Tuesday's series opener against left-hander Cole Hamels and the Chicago Cubs.
Longoria is on the hot corner and cleaning up following two full days of rest. Donovan Solano is moving to second base in place of Scooter Gennett and leading off the order.
