Astros' Carlos Correa (back) expected to return this week
Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correa (back) is expected to be activated off the injured list sometime this week, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
He has been out since August 20 with a back injury but appeared in a Triple-A game on Friday and had a live batting practice session on Sunday. "If all goes well, we'll continue his rehab in the big leagues during this homestand," manager A.J. Hinch said.
Correa is averaging 12.3 FanDuel points per game this season and is hitting .278/.358/.556 with 19 home runs.
