Royals manager Ned Yost to retire on Sunday
Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost has announced that he will retire from baseball after Sunday's season finale.
Yost is hanging it up after a 16-year managerial career. He spent the first six years of his career with the Brewers, before taking over the Royals in 2010.
His career record is 1,201-1,338, which translates to a 47.3% winning percentage. His teams only made the postseason twice, but reached the World Series in both occasions, winning it in 2015.
