Mark Canha kept out of Mets' lineup Wednesday
New York Mets left fielder Mark Canha is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday afternoon's game against right-hander Justin Verlander and the Houston Astros.
The Mets are giving Canha a breather after he went 0-for-12 with an RBI and three strikeouts over the last three games. Ender Inciarte is replacing Canha in left field and batting eighth.
Per numberFire's MLB Heat Map, the Mets’ implied total (3.98) is 20th in the majors on Wednesday. The park factor in the game is second-worst for hitters out of the 15 hosting stadiums Wednesday.
