Brad Miller remains out for Rangers Wednesday afternoon

Texas Rangers designated hitter Brad Miller is not in the starting lineup versus rookie right-hander Brandon Pfaadt and the Arizona Diamondbacks on Wednesday afternoon.

What It Means:

Robbie Grossman is resting for the matinee, but Miller still remains out for a sixth straight game. Jonah Heim will start at designated hitter and bat sixth.

numberFire’s models project Heim ($3,600) for 9.6 FanDuel points on Wednesday. Per our MLB Heat Map, the Rangers' implied total is 4.41 and the game total is 8.5. Pfaadt will be making his MLB debut versus the Rangers and the 24-year-old is considered one of the top pitching prospects in all of baseball. He recorded a 3.91 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with 30 strikeouts and 6 walks through 25 1/3 innings (five starts) this season before being called up.
