Josh Donaldson (calf) placed on Yankees' 10-day IL
New York Yankees infielder Josh Donaldson has been placed on the 10-day injured list.
What It Means:
Donaldson suffered a calf strain in the team's 6-3 win over Colorado on Saturday. Oswald Peraza was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to fill out the active roster.
In 33 plate appearances this season, Donaldson has a .142 batting avearge with a .659 OPS, 10 home runs, 13 runs and 15 RBI.
