Rays place Francisco Mejia (knee) on 10-day injured list
Tampa Bay Rays catcher Francisco Mejia (knee) has been placed on the 10-day injured list on Friday.
What It Means:
Mejia will miss time after he suffered a left knee MCL sprain on Thursday. Expect Christian Bethancourt to take over behind the plate while Rene Pinto operates in a backup role.
