Cardinals leave Richie Palacios off Monday lineup
The St. Louis Cardinals did not list Richie Palacios in their starting lineup for Monday's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
What It Means:
Palacios will take a seat Monday while Tommy Edman takes over in centerfield and Jose Fermin joins the lineup at second base.
Palacios hasn't had much of a chance to make an impression with the Cardinals yet this year, but made 123 plate appearances in the majors with the Guardians last year, during which he put up 0 home runs, 7 runs, 10 RBI, and a .232 batting average.
