Twins place Carlos Correa (plantar fasciitis) on IL
The Minnesota Twins placed infielder Carlos Correa on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with plantar fasciitis.
What It Means:
Correa will be eligible to return for the Twins' final series of the regular season against the Colorado Rockies. The Twins recalled Trevor Larnach from Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday in a corresponding roster move. Kyle Farmer will cover shortstop again and hit sixth in Wednesday afternoon's series finale against right-hander Hunter Greene and the Cincinnati Reds.
